after our initial uploads for a specific project, we've had numerous complaints that the "enlarge image" feature produces a preview that is almost too pixelated to view...
perhaps the easiest solution would be to have the image loader create a seperate, larger file for this function. the best i can tell is that it is the 350x350 image is being stretched to fill a bigger window and is therefore breaking down too much |

Yes, the large image is just a stretched version of the smaller one. We have done this for two reasons:
1. To keep the download time for people viewing the images on lower speed connections to a minimum.
2. To protect your images by not displaying a size that could be "screen grabbed" and printed with good quality.
We would be interested to know of other user's views on this. |

| We could use more flexibility in setting up packages in the price list section. It might even work better if the print extras add ons didn't remain the same with each category of price list. |

| I think that you may have posted this in the wrong section. This is a ProSelect question isn't it. |

I'm trialing the web gallery and using one client to give me feedback on this product. They are very impressed (as am I) One comment on their feedback was the Enlarged Image was too pixilated. They found this rather frustraiting. I must admit I do to. Particularly if your trying to look at a large group of people.
To add to a second file being generated by the image loader idea.....Would there be a possibility of dissabling the right click or copy function for that image or even the whole website. And actually have a little dialogue box telling the offender this is breaching policies? Do you understand what I'm getting at? I must admit the only way I know of this is I've been an offender of right clicking and was told that was naughty by one such little dialogue box.

Hi Kelly
If you don't already know, Web Gallery 2 is now running with great feedback from both the Photographers and their clients. There a many new features and it's also on a big new server for greater speed and capacity.
If you don't have a WG2 account already, you can trial it for 30 days with 75 upload image credits, fully functional.
We have prepared a series of articles which you can read.
1. "Migrating to WebGallery 2" is a good place to start for people already familar with the old system.
2. "Using WebGallery 2" (in two parts) covers the new features and use of the new system.
3. "Paypal Account Setup for WebGallery" details what you need to do to use a Paypal account with your WebGallery2 account.
They can be accessed via this link:

Cheers
